Linkage between Local Consultative Group and Global Commitment
Bangladesh is committed to the Paris Declaration, Busan Partnership Agreement, and GPEDC, which form its aid effectiveness framework. The High-Level Forums in Rome (2003), Paris (2005), Accra (2008), and Busan (2011) shifted the focus to development effectiveness, leading to GPEDC’s creation in 2012. Bangladesh is working through the Local Consultative Group (LCG) to implement these commitments domestically.
