Our Objective
The Executive Committee (ExComm) serves as the executive organ
of the DP group. In close consultation with Government, it seeks to ensure an inclusive process for defining agendas and priorities, ensuring high-quality preparation for the LCG, and to enhance the effectiveness of the dialogue in the Plenary and other associated meetings.

Who We Are
Formally, ExComm consists of ten members representing different DP groups,
organised in constituencies- three (3) are permanent members (World Bank, ADB, and the UN), and the remaining seven (7) are represented through constituencies. However ExComm was broadened into an “expanded” group, and the following UN member states and multilateral organisations now either attend meetings or receive information through the ExComm network: Member states and delegations: Australia, Canada, Denmark, EU, Germany, Italy, Japan, RoK, Netherlands, Norway, People’s Republic of China, Russian Federation, Sweden, Switzerland, United States, United Kingdom; Multilaterals: ADB, FAO, IMF, UN Women, UNDP, UNICEF, UNRC, World Bank, WFP. The ExComm is currently
Co-Chaired by The UN Resident Coordinator and Sweden.

Our Work
In close consultation with Government, it seeks to ensure an inclusive process for defining agendas and priorities, ensuring high-quality preparation for the LCG, and to enhance the effectiveness of the dialogue in the Plenary and other associated meetings. The ExComm fosters dialogue and consensus between international partners on international development challenges and how to help Bangladesh to address them, and promotes co- ordination of international development cooperation according to strategic priorities identified by the Plenary.

Enhance Effectiveness
Enhance the effectiveness of the dialogue in the Plenary and other associated meetings.
Co-Ordinate
Foster dialogue and consensus between international partners on international development challenges and how to help Bangladesh to address them, and promote co- ordination of international development cooperation according to strategic priorities identified by the Plenary.
