Health Nutrition and Population

He was born in Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila. He has Passed Secondary from Ideal High School, Dhaka and Higher Secondary from Government BM College, Barisal. He later obtained an MBBS degree from Sir Salimullah Medical College and later a Masters in Public Health from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He studied Global Health at Emory University, USA as a Hubert Humphrey Fellow under a Fulbright Scholarship. During his long career, he performed his government duties with honesty, devotion and efficiency.

In order to improve his professional skills, he attend training in various institutions including Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center, Bangladesh Civil Service Administration Academy, National Local Government Institute, Bangladesh Military Academy, Institute of Public Finance. He has traveled to Canada, Thailand, Sweden, USA, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Japan, China, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Australia and Netherlands for various professional activities and participation in seminars and workshops. In personal life he is married and father of one daughter and one son.
